I'm currently a college student, and I go to this building every week for our Institute class. It's so much fun! The people are so fun and kind, and our teacher is excellent. We study the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and the teachings of Jesus Christ. We also get free food and socialization time. For people who aren't single college age students, they also have weekly activities for youth and church services on Sundays. These are all wonderful experiences, and have definitely been a blessing in my life.

I love that the teachings of this church are based on Jesus Christ as found in the Bible and the Book of Mormon as well as modern revelation given through the current Prophet and 12 Apostles. I love that this church focuses on strengthening the family. There are classes for adults and children as well as a the largest women's organization in the world (the Relief Society). The members of the congregation teach on Sunday as unpaid clergy. The hymns are beautiful and uplifting. The worship service is divided into three blocks. The first hour is the meeting where the sacrament is given and talks are given by usually three speakers from the congregation (called a ward). The second hour is a Sunday school class where the adults and children split and are taught from the scriptures. The last hour the children stay where they are singing songs and being taught at their level, the women go to Reliefy Society and the men go to a class to learn their Priesthood duties. I leave church feeling peaceful, strengthened and given help for my daily life. The gospel of Jesus Christ taught here brings me great happiness!
