Nice location and good views of the lake. Staff was nice, helpful and courteous. Five of us and we all got different meals, none of us were impressed with food. Scallop pasta special had small shredded scallops and not good sauce. Steak was overcooked and tough. Clam chowder was soupy and lacking clams. Mac and cheese with pulled pork was fair, good pork and poor pasta.nNice location but not impressed with food quality.

I came here with my friend a couple days ago and loved it! The food was great at a reasonable price and the lakeside view was beautiful. Our server was especially helpful and we overall had a great experience.

My son is attending Nichols College in Dudley, Ma, We wanted to take him out to dinner- I came across Samuel Slater's Restaurant when searching for restaurants that were close by. I would highly recommend this restaurant, the staff was amazing & we all LOVED our dinners ! - The view of the lake at night was wonderful., We will definitely be back !

I have ordered from here 3x since they reopened for take out service and each time I am more impressed than the previous. First two orders were the family style steak tips which comes with fresh (warm) bread , rice along w peppers onions n mushrooms. Cooked to perfection and presentation was on point. Picked up order dock side and was ready in less than 30 min. Last weekend I pre ordered 7 lobster meals that came with bread , corn on the cob , coleslaw n clam chowder. Thankful to have ordered in advance as we were told they sold out. No surprising with a price of $20. Again perfect presentation n every detail w butter , utensils n plates. The butter wasn’t so great but that’s a minor thing to adjust. Highly recommend this place and can’t wait for it to open so as to enjoy dinner on the deck.

Great wine event. Food was excellent as were the wine pairings. Recommend highly especially since the price was only $50. Much better than anticipated.
