I feel like part of the family the few times I've been here.nGreat place to have a cold drink, eat their delicious food and talk to random, friendly people.nThe tents are a bonus. The sunset is beautiful in the campsite and the beds are comfortable.nI'll be back, again.

Off the beaten path between Fossil and Mitchell, Oregon. Quaint, friendly, privately owned and operated. In addition to a limited but tasty menu in the cafe the facility offers many convenience store items. Good view, good people and a good place (the only place) to stop for a quick lunch or to replenish supplies.

Friendliest place on the John Day. Owner is nice, and has a great sense of humor. Food was good and the service was top notch. Very relaxed atmosphere.
