Easy hike to a handful of waterfalls. Beautiful scenery and views of the Columbia River. Main trails are paved, but still can be a little slick when damp. Lots of room for people to spread out. There are bathrooms at the parking lot which is nice. The parking lot is very small so if is very busy you might have to wait a bit or come back later. Highly recommend checking this beautiful spot out!

If you go here, bring your bikes. The trail to the left is paved and perfect for biking. Path is nice and wide.

Arguably better than Multnomah falls, starvation Creek packs a beautiful trail with unbelievable views as well as wonderful picnicking tables next to the waterfall and creek. It's a very serene and peaceful place to hang out and view.nnIf you hike up the trail a little ways, you may encounter falling rocks, so DEFINITELY be careful as you go. But it turns out to be very worth it when you find that one right clearing to show you some spectacular sights.nnThe falling rocks and wildlife you may see brings this location down one star, but don't let that deter you from going, especially if you don't mind a little danger.

Stop by for a quick break to see the falls if you are heading Eastbound on HWY 84, if you are heading Westbound on HWY 84 you will have to back track to the exit to access the falls. Otherwise you can park further up HWY 84 and take the trail to the falls, but will entail walking a few miles to get to the falls.

Easy parking, easy access to 5+ miles of improved trail along the highway. Not challenging per se, but plenty of Columbia River views, a good blend of deciduous & evergreen forest and rolling climbs. I imagine once the maples begin to color up, it'll be a beautiful fall run (or ride).
