It was great for a morning breakfast, my partner got the biscuits and gravy which were AMAZING. He said the best he's had. I got the northwest skillet which was okay, but for the price I expected it to taste better. It was quite fishy and the shrimp took over the flavor profile of the whole dish. Another odd thing was that a slice of cantaloupe was added to each of our dishes as an edible garnish, but it leaked juices onto the rest of our food. For the price it was okay, I hope their dinner is better. I would've paid that price again though just to look out at the view and for the wonderful wait staff who was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing.

My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday and both had the Prime Rib dinner. It was superb along with everything else from the clam chowder to the Peanut Butter Pie (we were celebrating our anniversary)! The clouds were clearing so the view was spectacular and our waiter, Jorge, was wonderful! So good we are going back this morning for breakfast!

My general experience is that tourist towns have bad food, hotel restaurants serve bad food and that a good view means bad food, so I went into Fathom's with very low expectations. I'm happy to report that the food is quite good. It is not particularly innovative or unique, but steaks were prepared properly, scallops were cooked just right, and the whole meal was well-seasoned and delicious. Service was attentive and the view was gorgeous. An easy five star rating.

Best restaurant on the coast. Initially I was concerned about parking, but I didn't realize they had a tunnel under the highway to a big parking lot on the other side!nnWe both had the salmon and it was extremely good and a very generous portion. Can't beat the view!

I would prefer to give the 3 1/2 stars.nnI was awed by the decor and comfort. Our table overlooked the ocean. It was a cozy private spot. This was the best part of the experience.nnI thought the service was average. I expected more. I read great things about the waiter. He was friendly enough but forgot a few things.nnThe food was underwhelming. The choices limiting. The price fair. It was filling. The presentation of the food was good. The taste just didn't move me.
