Only signup if you know in the next 50 years, you’ll never quit. Trying to cancel your membership is where they plan on making another $100. I’ve tried cancelling it for 6 months.nnThe owner, Tanner, he could care less about you or setting an example for good customer service. He’s interested in wearing his purple shoes and pretending to care about the tenets of Planet Fitness.nnThe GM, at this time (because it changes often and will again soon), Garrett, is horrible at communicating. I had to call 6 times to finally get him. When he knows your phone call is regarding cancelling your account and trying to get a refund, he will not return your phone calls.nnThey tell you they’ll suggest a partial credit to corporate, but not to count on anything because it’s a corporate decision. When I called corporate, customer service told me this location is independently owned (Tanner Halton) and only the location makes decisions and issues credits. This Planet Fitness location and likely all of Tanner’s are handled in this manner. Zero Integrity.

Planet fitness has impacted the fitness business more than any other in the past. I always give thumbs up.

Easy to join. Almost impossible to quit. “Renewal” charges without notification. Called to stop numerous times. But they can’t do it over the phone. I have to go into the location I joined at. I don’t live in that town anymore.nReally should make quitting easier during a pandemic.

I have continued to pay my membership dues, even though I havent used the facility for a year due to covid. They now want to charge an annual fee and said if I want to cancel I need to send a paper letter, an actual piece of paper as it is unsafe to cancel by email. OMG that is hilarious!!! Sure, make it difficult to cancel and maybe they can collect an extra month or two. I thought I was being a good community member by paying my dues and helping a local business but now I get charged extra and get the run around, yuck.nMaybe I should have expected this from a big corporation.

Definitely one of the better planet fitness gyms I've been too. Good atmosphere, however, the weights and core work out options are very limited I often see people circling one ab machine, free form area, or free weights in general. But if you wanna work your arms and legs eat your heart out lol fantastic for that. Oh and as always a nice spa.
