Absolute heaven to dine with the crew at Family Roots. Their food is delicious, well cooked, high quality, and very fresh. It’s a pleasure every single time. Do yourself a favor, stop in for breakfast and get pancakes and breakfast potatoes. They’re so amazing. Like cult-following-inducing amazing. Everything else is heavenly too.
The food is FANTASTIC. The BEST Butte has to offer! Finally in Butte a reasonably priced restaurant with exceptional, from scratch EVERYTHING. Paula, the owner is a wonderful person! The staff is super friendly! All the great reviews are true. I am super impressed with this place. The sourdough is moist, evenly baked, with the lightest crispy crust. Mmmm. The artichoke dip is amazing. I could live off if it as well! Please support this Montana family owned establishment. Ask about their special menus. So wonderful Paula!
I didn't know that this place was here. A hidden treasure for sure. I'm totally suprised there wasn't a line of people going around the corner. How this cafe has been kept a secret is beyond me. I Highly Recommend It ! A great afternoon get away!
Extraordinarily attentive service, good food (the raspberry creme brulee was unreal!!), and a nice clean atmosphere that was suitable for family dining, I would definitely recommend Family Roots. Only reasons it gets dinged a star is because it doesn't have an exceptionally wide choice of items on the menu, and it is a little bit on the high side in terms of price!
