The soup is my favorite, highly recommended. Beautiful historic dining room. Looking forward to coming back.
I hit this joint once a year for probably the last 18 years. Always good food and good service. Awesome breads and soups. Fairly priced for a tourist hot spot. Looks small and crowded but I have never had to wait for a table. Afternoons might be the best time to dine.
I think Johnson’s might be one of my favorite restaurants ever. The soup and croutons are so good and everything tastes super fresh and homemade. Having worked in the service industry I love that they don’t take any nonsense.
The place is rustic and homey. Service was friendly and efficient, very pleasant. The food is outstanding! Best beef brisket I've ever enjoyed - even better than southern BBQ places. Excellent soup! Well worth the drive
Amazing local restaurant with great food, wonderful decor and brilliant service. Many dishes served family style. The soup and bread are the best! Dinner portions are huge and delicious. There are not many restaurants in the area, but Johnson's is worth multiple visits.
