Hacker Middle School

There is a lot of bullying going on in this school, there ARE NOT enough yard duties (only 4) to safely watch over 300 kids at recess times. There are fights all the time and most recently my son recieved a broken nose by a child who has been in fights before and all he got was Detention , REALLY? DETENTION That's it? He broke my kids nose., what sort of punishment is that? It's not, that's why the kid keeps hurting other children last little boy he hurt he kicked him in the face knocking his teeth loose. I'm sure he got Detention for that also. Let me feel you in on some of the teachers there.... One teacher would get so close to my sons face to where her spit would fly on his face and she would yell at him Same teacher made the kids get so many math problems right, 10 I thinknBefore they were allowed to use the restroom. If they didn't they couldn't go... I confronted the teacher on this and she denied it. I sent a voice recorder with my son just to make sure he wasn't stretching the truth sure enough that's what she said, recorded her saying exactly what he had been telling me Another time I wrote my son an excuse from PE because he had a bad cough and was coughing up blood, he gave the note to his main teacher at that time, walked with her to PE class, in that time, she told him that because I had ill feelings towards the PE teacher that was no reason he couldn't do PE... I'm sorry, but who's the parent here? And who was she to over step my authority for the safety of my child until he sees the pulmonoligist.. She handed the note to PE teacher, he put it on his clipboard and told lmy son to go participate in PE class. Just wow.! To me it seems as if there isn't enough care or give a damn, to make sure these kids are safe. How many children are gonna get seriously hurt before they finally do something other then Detention ? Parents need to come together and make this a safer school environment for our children . If parents can sue the school to make them pay for supplies, why can't we sue to make them a SAFER school...
