If you are looking to get into kayaking in the Seattle area this is your go to place. They have Whitewater kayak options and Sea Kayak options. All of the gear you will need for both is right here as well. They also have the expertise in the pros and cons of various gear and the experience on the water to steer beginners in the right direction. I am so thankful for everything they have offered me so far as I am getting into Whitewater Kayaking.

Called ahead to make an appointment and they were ready for us as soon as we arrived. Because of the pandemic, everything took place outside. The man who helped us was knowledgeable and friendly.

I did a kayak tour on Whidbey Island, and they recommended I reach out to Kayak Academy to get my kayak, supplies, etc. I bought ALL of my supplies from Kayak Academy a few months ago, and my experience was great! Recently, I had some questions about my car's kayak rack, and they were beyond helpful! I won't consider looking anywhere else when it comes time to upgrade my kayak and equipment!

I have purchased both an expensive paddle and a cheap kayak here about a year apart. I walked in knowing very little and walked out feeling like I learned what I needed and got what I wanted. I appreciate their no pressure sales and deep knowledge.
