I came here looking for a water bottle with a filter built into it. The nice lady took me right to them. All sorts of cool stuff everywhere!

Helpful mix of things you may not see in larger outdoors retailers (with a very non-hiking store attached in back). Some are quite expensive, but many are non-name brands at very affordable prices. We picked up collapsible trekking poles (which have held up perfectly well through many miles of very difficult hikes), a new fixed blade knife, and an oxygen canister for quick breaths during our hikes above 10,000ft. It’s a small store, but you may stay longer than you expect to. Highly recommended.nn*The Smokey Bear Ranger Station is closed beyond the vestibule due to COVID, and Happy Hiker is the only place in town we saw the forest service’s trail map/info book. These pictures are just a few examples of why if you plan to do any serious hiking, you need this!*

Very nice and clean store... cool little stuff in there. They have hiking stuff for pets. They sell dry mushrooms for energy.

What a wonderful quaint little store, they had my Xero shoes which truly helped me determine my best size fit for shoes, I am not an easy shoe shopper, I will go through many sizes and am very picky about colors. The clerk helping, I believe her name is Carol, was exceptionally friendly and patient with us. After an awful lot of hemming and hawing I did end up buying the black Terraflex in black, and I just love them, they suited me great for our 3 mile walk, I love this store! Oh and they loved my service dog Bernieud83dude42

Totally rude clerk had me kicked out by her fiance while MN i was trying to buy a lock for my wife and kid. Absolutely unprofessional and should be terminatednnI'm African American and I belive this was a race issue
