My husband and 2 year old son went to the zoo yesterday after a friend suggested we check it out. What a bargain! We are a military family, and have been to zoos all over the country including the San Diego Zoo. For the price of only $6 for our entire family, our son got to see lots of animals up close and personal, including peacocks that freely roamed the park. Sure, they didn't have elephants or some of the more exotic or larger animals. But, we were quite impressed to see tigers, bears, and even a giraffe. Perfect size for the attention span of a two year old boy. We will definetly be back!
