Nice quiet place, right off the byway. In the Lincoln National Forest. When I visited, 11/17, there was snow on the northern slopes! Dog and I had a great time
It's definitely a wonderful picnic area and for the most part isn't packed. Could be because it's off the highway though.
Second time we've stayed here and it's just beautiful and peaceful as before.
Its a quaint little nook to take a picnic in the mountains.
This is also a every time attraction. We love coming to see the beautiful nature!
