South Fork Campground

We had a wonderful time at South Fork. What we enjoyed best was the strict noise rules, the camp host made regular rounds each day. There are water hydrants throughout the campground but no electric hookups, and no sewer or dump station I was aware of. There are toilet vaults, maximum RV length is 25'.

Finally open! Campground was beautiful! Host is very kind and warm. Campsites were spaced perfectly. There were water faucets around and dumpsters on site. Some sites were still under construction. We'll be back next camping season for sure.

Still a work in progress due to the forest fires. Nature is filling back in nicely but camping is only on the forest service land at this time.

Bonito lake is a beautiful place in spring and summer...lake is still closed due to fire but they will be dredging it and reopen soon...
