I have been trying to get three birds processed, 2 drakes and a rooster, for about 3-4 weeks. I would call and they would say either they are busy and could not do it or to schedule earlier in the week as they only process them on Saturdays. Okay, I called Tuesday said I just really need to get the rooster processed as he is overly aggressive and I was told that I don’t need an appointment. I am new to their facility and realistically new to the chicken experience. I dispatched the chicken before I set out of Kiowa to get the task done. Upon arriving two of the people, a man and woman, said they can’t process because of bacteria. I made a clean kill on the bird no hit or any other trauma. I know for sure that 1/2 hour will not harm the meat. I hunt and have seen people still butcher elk that were left overnight and ducks and geese harvested from in the field earlier in the day. I get it, it’s October, if you didn’t want to do the job close that down until season is over or business slows. But I felt bad as the meat did go to waste now as I had no where else to turn after driving there from Kiowa. I would never recommend this facility to anyone .nnPs on a last note I rarely, if ever, get mad enough to write a review!

We brought 7 lambs to be processed. We had an easy time finding it and everyone was very helpful. The packaging was nicely done and the cuts of meat are very tasty. We will be back next year.

Got quarter cow and half pig for way less than I expected. Great service. Meat quality is great with wonderful marbling on various cuts of beef, burger not too fatty. Bacon and sausage is amazing; far better than store bought! Looking forward to trying more cuts of pork an beef. Will be back for more!

I first met Martin, and his mom and dad seven years ago when I would bring customers’ wild game in to be processed. He always did such a great job with the wild meat processing that I started looking into buying my beef and pork from him. I now buy exclusively from Martin and his family. Quality of meat is fantastic, and price is hard to beat. Best summer sausages I have ever had and ask about the Smoked Turkey during Thanksgiving. Try them—you will be glad you did—it’s a drive well worth it!
