This is a great Safeway! It is very spacious, clean, and well stocked with a wide variety of food items. The produce is beautiful with a great variety of organic items. There's a good variety of different cuts of meat. They have a wonderful variety of frozen seafood. We will be shopping there regularly.

Bummer experience here recently. Self check out clerk was so rude! Purchased pre sliced fruit . To get home and open it for the family and it taste like onions. Which means they cut the fruit with the same knife they used to cut onions or on the same block without cleaning first ! ud83dude1e only gave two stars because the store was stocked and super quiet!

Generally I'm happy with the store but this time person in meat department didn't know how to take off the skin of the salmon and ill give him a star for trying but he took off so much of salmon and throw it away and didn't redo price tag, plus it my salmon looked like it was tortured. I have no problem doing it at home and would prefer if you don't know how to do it don't do it at all.

I caution anyone ordering online and picking up at the store. Yesterday I placed an order online and selected the delivery time. Just prior to me heading out to the store at the designated pickup time today, I called the store to ensure the order would be ready when I got there. But I was told the items I ordered were out of stock. They also told me I should have received an email stating such, but I received no such email (and yes I verified they had my correct email address, and yes I checked my spam folder as well.) And again, this was just minutes before my scheduled pickup time. So the point is, had I not called the store and instead just drove the 15 miles to pick up my items, it would have been a complete waste of my time. I would think a major food chain like Safeway would have a better system. There's no excuse for this. After all, this IS the 21st century.nnPS It's now 30 minutes past my designated pickup time. Still no email/phone call/text to alert me that my order could not be fulfilled. Shameful.
