If you find yourself passing through Deer Trail, Colorado on your way from here to there, do yourself a favor and stop at Maw’s. Not only will you get an amazingly fresh sub sandwich, you might just meet mom. She is a delight, and while she has only been open for about a year, she has the best hot roast beef sandwich that I have tasted in many years.nnWhile she’s only open for carry out right now, call because that’s the way the world is right now, you can call ahead while you pull off the highway, and she will have it waiting for you when you arrive, hot and fresh.nnDo yourself a favor, and don’t miss this little gem. Not only are the porches and generous, but the food is very delicious. And while you’re there, don’t forget to pick up a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie! :-)

We had such a nice experience ordering a pizza to go and taking pictures of the train tracks and older buildings here. Maw made us feel so special and created a delicious pizza. We can't wait to stop back by for their famous subs! Thanks again.

I got the Italian sub which was so good I couldn't stop eating it, my husband got the chicken bacon ranch sub which was also ridiculously good, and our son got the pepperoni pizza and loved it. The woman who helped us was great and it didn't take long at all to get our food which was clearly made to order. I would highly recommend making the drive to support an excellent small business. You won't be disappointed!

This place has the best subs in colorado. Bread is delicious, veggies are crunchy and the meat was great with marinades and oils.nOwner is wonderful. Will not be disappointed (:!
