Nice smaller park. Very few spots for larger trailers. (35 ft) There is power and water, but only regular 20 amp outlets to plug in. No 30 or 50 amp plugs. 1 Women & men restroom with a shower and flush toilets. ( another outhouse type restroom in the day area.) There is also horseshoe pits in the day area, but bring your own horseshoes.nOpen area camping, for the most part, but a few spots with some bushes.nFor trailers, there is potable water available to fill and a dump station to empty. Quiet area, except for the occasional passing train.nNearest supplies is 15 miles. Gas, grocerys, restrurants. Nothing fancy.nGood place to get away and just rest.
Amazing acai bowls and delightful coffee.nAll in a cozy environment with wonderful customer service and wide selection of food and beverages.nNice indoor seating and outdoor patio
Stayed one night at this park. Tent site $17 pr night for residents of Oregon, $22 for non. Nice partly shaded spots, bathrooms with showers, and camp hosts were really nice people. Wildlife roams the park randomly.nnGoose Lake isn't much to look at but there is plenty of other fishing lakes in the area.nnI did not see much else to do in the park, but it was a good place to layover for a night or two.
Goose Lake State park is a jewel of a campground if you like a quiet rural setting. It has 40 sites with water and 20 amp hookups nicely spaced and lovely large shade trees and large expanses of lawn. There are toilets and showers and also a dump station.
