Tuacahn High School for the Arts

For the short time my daughter is been going there she is so happy and we as parents love that , i said is a wonderful school full of knowledge teachers and staff principal is very nice and friendly love this high school .

great school but i do have a few complaints: 1. dress codes a bit lacking, if they had an on sight area to buy different colors of their tuacahn titan branded T-shirts then that would be just great. also, being able to wear jackets inside without being dress coded would be amazing, its super cold from November to march so sorry if people like to wear their jackets for like 15 minutes inside so they can warm up. it'd save the school time for not dress coding students, it'd save money for the electrical bill for heating and air, and it'd save my Councillor time about me stressing about life. 2. not being allowed to leave campus for lunch is a bit rude, but understandable. if there was away for students to clock out for lunch and head into town to grab food, then come back and clock back in to show they weren't ditching, that would be fabulous. 3. a little bit heavy on the religious views, but that's given seeing as its Utah, and also Ivins. 4. old folks coming in and out during school hours. i know its a good thing for business to have it open for potential buyers of tickets to go see shows and explore the gallery, but do they have to be let inside of the school itself? there's been at least 7 instances i've experienced as a student there of some random person asking where the tickets are. 5. for a school about being accepted for who you are and what you do, half the time i feel not accepted there at all due to people being offended over a curse word not directly targeted at them. As always, tuacahn is a great school with great people, teachers, some students, and shows. i definitely recommend taking the family out for a massive theatrical production.

What an amazing High School. We have had three children go through this school and it has made all the difference to them. They have traveled the world and performed in front of thousands and made life long connections. Thanks you for being the first Public Charter School in Utah and getting better each and every year!

I loved all of my teachers at Tuacahn. Smaller class sizes meant more one on one time. Dance at Tuacahn was unlike any other school and the uniforms were inexpensive and great. I wish everyone couls go to a school like this.

Honestly the principal sucks this year he has major anger issues and has a hard time dealing with anybody that doesn't agree with him. He has a hard time running the school and now I can see why he left his old school he probably had to leave cause everybody has these same issues with him. Frankly he shouldn't be principal anywhere.
