A wonderful place to walk on nicely maintained trails. The other section has a big playground and a pond with plenty of beach like sand to hang and play! Plenty of parking, some picnic tables, bathroom facilities available.

Best park for: walking,biking,playing basketball,playing frisbee golf,watching the stars in the Observatory, or playing tennis. All in all it’s got everything you need for an enjoyable day. There’s an inclosed dog park with bathrooms at multiple locations. There’s a big playground for the kids and a pond for swimming, with lifeguards usually on duty. 3 tennis courts and plenty of basketball hoops. 1 boat launch and plenty of parking. It used to be a air force training area so it’s got three big runways that where converted into the park, so there plenty of room for events (2 or 3 big pavilions).
This is a great place to visit for wildlife fans and aviation/history fans! I had a lot of fun coming here and seeing the remains of the old airfield!
