Mercer Island Martial Arts is a fantastic, inviting place. The owners and staff are amazing. They strive to provide a healthy learning environment where everyone is included no matter their experience level. They work hard to make sure that every student performs at their highest level and they teach valuable lessons that can used in all areas of their lives, not just Tae Kwon Do. I would recommend this martial arts studio to anyone. Being a small local business, the focus is on the quality of the student experience and I love that even as a non-student, I feel welcome there.

My child always enjoyed great time at MIMA. The owners are not only experienced in teaching, but also understand kids well. They created a very supportive environment for all kids to grow.
Mercer Island Martial Arts is in its 20th successful year here in Mercer Island WA. The Dojang offers highly skilled Masters with a plethora of activities for the whole family. They have many classes to choose from. Based on age and/or skill levels, Dragon classes for the younger ones, family classes and teen classes. Not just Martial Arts is taught here dealing with pressures in life, Bullying and peer pressure etc. Are also great tools. (I love the family class best because it connects us together with responsibility, trust respect and self defense techniques. Creating a strong foundation for families). The after school program, parent nights out, special events, ceremonies for milestones and that's just a few of the opportunities. Mercer Island Martial Arts supports and teaches the fundamentals of community with food drives, Kick Athlons, and volunteering opportunities. even have a Demo team that entertains for the community. This place is great for team building, working out, and having a great time with fabulous people.
