George Washington State Campground and Management Area

Love to hike here. well marked and good all around trails.

Great place! Was our first time visiting the facility. Check in was easy and site was nice. We brought plenty of wood but dead fall provided enough for fire. We walked the trails, enjoyed the lake then enjoyed a peaceful dinner and night by the fire. We will be back.

A beautiful hiking trail with various options of length!

Great campsite with large tent sites. You just need to make sure you get the right one, some tent sites can be rather small. We reserved a site that was to small for us, but the staff was quick to accommodate us and let us pick a bigger site. Luckily there was availability...

Excellent dry camping experience, Modern shower building and vault toilets, beautiful little beach front with large rock, hiking trails, many sites, some level some not so level, forest is dense between sites compared to Burlingame state park, sites are generally smaller than Burlingame also. I will definitely return to this campground. Probably buggy in summer, it is a very wooden environment.
