Beautiful local small Italian market offering a great selection of imported and store made Italian delicacies. The owner is wonderfully friendly and full of helpful advice on how to prepare what you buy. The P & C sandwich is out of this world!!!
For locals and long-time Newport frequenters who fondly recall Portabella's on broadway, this is your little slice of authentic Italian lunch counter and market. Definitely the go-to spot for spectacular cured meets, fresh home made pasta, high quality select imported dry goods. Don't visit without buying a sandwich, there's no equivalent on the island currently!
Excellent little store, everything imported from Italy, great prepared foods too!
Went in with high expectations, and the P&G sandwich was the best meal I ever had.
Very good, authentic Italian food. Location is great - right by the beaches in Middletown/Newport. The Bologna sandwich I had was extremely fresh and tasty. Will definitely return!
