I rented the unit for one month and a day. I paid the one month. I also was charged another FULL MONTH for one day. That’s cool whatever. They decided to take another $101 out THIS MONTH when we have clearly been out. Now I’m fighting to get my money back. He said he mailed it on Friday. All of a sudden , he mailed it today. ud83dude44 should have done my research.
Dan charged me for a full month although I was out on the 2nd, and then continued to charge me even after I vacated. Now, I've been waiting 10 days for a check to be mailed from Huron to Elyria. Not recommended.
Sorry some people were not happy. Belongings are always safe, no vandalism, no flooding, fully paved with drains throughout the entire 2 1/2 acres. Why are the only negative comments from people that are past due? No one had there units go to auction for nonpayment so that's obviously Plaza Mini Storage Inc. working with people that have a temporary cash flow problem.
Great and understanding people, willing to work with you around your particular situation, will do business with again!
My mom was behind by a few months so i offered to keep my card on file to keep her payments caught up.... She called last week to let him know not to charge my card anymore because she would be moving her things out...this past weekend we had a huge snow storm where the drifts had physically prevent her from getting in...and he is now threatening to keep charging my card if she doesn't get people to shovel her belonging out. That isn't how you do business... is it not the property owners job to keep storage units accessible?
