Picked up scrubs and books for school. Everyone was doing the right thing. Was in and out quickly. On with classes.
I am a current student at PIMA. It is a great institute with amazing instructors and staff, but the reason why giving a poor review is the facilities.nnPIMA Renton has a growing population of students and with the classrooms provided it is overwhelming for staff and instructors. Some of the equipment are out of date and need of dire updates.nnOn top of that the maintenance of classrooms are not kept up with by maintenance. You would think that in a lab setting it should be bleached and sanitized on a daily, but it is not thew case. Sometimes I would fine droplets of blood on my table from the class the night before.nnWith the growing population of students, I honestly think that they should invest in a permanent building for the institute.nnAside from the negativity the instructors care and cater for each and every student. Mrs. Adams, Ms. Cooks, thank you for taking care of your students and being patient with each and every one of them. You make a huge impact in the school!
The school has amazing faculty and support me through school and after. They assisted me in getting my job out of school. Zack always has time for his students. Mr. Brown showed me how to be a leader with a balance of listening and directing. Robin helped me with ensuring my finances were in order. Mrs. Cook and Ms. Stinson wer tough but got me the proper skills to succed. Dr. Foote got me the basis of anatomy that helps me understand what my patients come in with. Great school will probably go back to get degree at a future date.
Changed my life! All of the teachers are incredible and really want to help you succeed. I truly cannot say enough about the teachers and staff, they are all amazing and extremely helpful. I could not have graduated without their support! I now have my dream job as a Vet Assistant and I'm super excited to go back to Pima for the Veterinary Technician program! Thank you so much Pima Medical Institute for enriching my life, helping me grow and making me realize I can achieve anything!
