Speedy Car Rental North

Was straight face lied to several times by his car rental company as well as the body shop. They both told me this car was set up through the insurance company so that it would directly be paid for since that was one of my insurance benefits but in reality they never spoke to the insurance company and this rental company was just one that the body shop used so I now have to pay for out of pocket and then wait to be reimbursed by the insurance company. The car is disgusting, covered in chips, the wipers work but the washer fluid does not which is not safe in winter when there is salt all over the windshield. I literally had to buy a jug of washer fluid just so I can dump it on my windshield and turn the wipers on just so I can see. The inside is very dingy. I have been so embarrassed to drive his car. The tire pressure light has been on since I got it, they also said the gas was completely filled up but that was also a lie. It was at the line underneath full but I went ahead and filled it up anyway just to save an argument. There are plenty of paint chips all around this car and minor damage but when the car was given to me it was completely filthy dirty and covered in snow so I guarantee they are going to try and blame me for even more of the paint chips just because they couldn't see them during our walk around. First and last time ever using this company. Again not that it was my choice because they lied to me.

Picked up a car today at 10 am and the wife and I go out for our anniversary and now I am sitting in Ikea with a rental that will not go into gear and are currently stranded. The only number I have is for someone who claimed to have been the owner that just rings and rings there is no emergency number and every number I have for them ring to a phone with no voicemail I had the car for less than 6 hours and only drove it a total of 1 hr cumulatively. Do not rent from this company Thier cars are dirty and beat up. From what I have experienced thus far they do not care about the customer or take any pride in the vehicles they rent.

Quick service, low price, nothing wrong with the rental car, and I was provided a free ride home after I returned the car. No complaints here!

Passenger side door will not open. Safety belts in back seat nonfunctional, car was deipped off to me with an empty tank of gas. When trying to contact them to swap the car getting the run around
