First timer must say food was very good. I had the fried chicken with rice and beans,and braised greens. So good crawfish was great to. Want something different,better then pizza and fast-food hit up Parish.
At a time when just being out with my sister is such an out of the ordinary experience, last July we were lucky enough to enjoy the delicious food, interesting and tasty cocktails, amazingly friendly service; while enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains at sunset at The Parish Restaurant in New Paltz.nnI plan to return the The Parish next time I return to the area. My sister and I are looking forward to enjoying a meal once again, with Matt as our gracious host!
Excellent time. Great food. Pleasant atmosphere
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cute. I know everyone is just trying to make it through the all the restrictions, so the seating was still pleasant. We missed the sunset but they do have a pretty great view. However, both my partner and I weren't overly impressed with the food. The fried okra and green beans were delicious, but I found the shrimp and grits rather tasteless and he was not pleased with his jambalaya at all. I'd stick to drinks and appetizers here, and move on for dinner next time.
My husband and I stopped here for lunch and the halloumi salad with chicken I ordered was delicious. His fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. The beer selection was great and our waiter was so nice! We definitely recommend this little gem with a great view.
