After researching all the local Mexican restaurants, I decided on Los Jalapenos based on their great reviews & their pictures looking the most authentic. Well, they did not disappoint! The place looks really cute & cozy, but I was just there to pick up a to go order. I was early, so I was going to ask if I could order a margarita while I waited, but my food was already ready! ud83dude00 I asked if they did to-go margaritas jokingly ( even though I really wanted one), & to my surprise, they said yes! ud83dude03 I ordered a large blackberry which was poured into a LARGE to go container with fresh blackberries in the bottom. The ice was still intact when I got it home & it was DELICIOUS! The food was equally delicious. ud83dude0b Huge burrito-enough for 2 meals, & the shredded beef was so flavorful! Service was efficient & super friendly. Definitely a local gem! ud83dudc8e

I order from Los Jalapenos more than my wallet would like me to, but it's always worth every cent. Everyone who works here is friendly and kind. Even on busy nights I am greeted with a smile, and the food is superb. So many places tend to throw quality to the wayside once it gets hectic, but this restaurant never disappoints.

Tacos were fabulous! Salsa was also great but I didn't love the queso dip. It was lukewarm and kind of chunky. Definitely not your traditional queso dip. It wasn't horrible, just had an odd taste and texture. Food came out quickly and the young girl serving us was very nice. We will definitely go back.

Excellent food every time! Mouth watering steaks, the presentation is ALWAYS good. You may have to wait sometimes, but the reason is... everything is fresh! Flavors are excellent, portions are good. You have to ask for the above normal hot sauce, it is amazing! The Horchata is excellent also! You will be served with fresh Chips and salsa while waiting! 2 Thumbs up!
