An absolutely gorgeous property with an interesting history. There is so much to see, from the beautiful trees, the water, the outdoor tea area, and of course the mansion. There are so many species of trees, plants, and shrubs that I never knew existed! Plan to spend a couple of hours here to really get the full experience. Or, come frequently for casual strolls. It's beautiful even in the crisp winter air. There is no picnic allowed on the property, so prepare to eat at the cafe, or before or after your trip.

Incredible getaway that I’m surprised I had never heard of before. Lots of trails, benches and other scenic stops on the property. Due to COVID quite a few things are closed, but there’s still plenty to see and walk in this spacious park - and during winter it’s free! I can’t wait to come back here during summer to see the plants blooming and walk the whole property without the wind making me freeze. Highly recommended, one of those hidden LI gems!

Beautiful grounds. Well maintained and clear paths. Plenty of benches. I always make a point to visit anytime I come back to long Island

The grounds here are kept so beautifully. Still even now there are flowers to see. Wonderful to walk around. The cafe is open and they serve high tea plus other items. So glad I recently was able to enjoy another afternoon here. Don’t miss out and come.

A treasure of Long Island. A beautiful place to enjoy a walk with a friend or alone, to photograph, to have a meal, etc. Each tree is showcased beautifully and the property is the most well maintained I have ever seen. The landscaping, decor, everything. You will not only take in gorgeous sights, you will learn, you will discover. Take time when you come here. I did not discover this location for many years living on the island, but am so glad to have now.
