Called for what should be an easy job and they said they could not do it because they weren’t “taking new customers.” What? You are electricians not a doctor’s office! Lol!

I have a generac generator that needed repair. I have been a customer for the past 4 to 5 years. In the past they did extensive repairs on my generator. I called to make an appointment, I was told they would not be able to get to me for 3 to 4 weeks. Unacceptable. I texted Rick Holborn twice with my concerns. He didn’t have the courtesy to return my inquiries. I found another company do the repairs. They came within a week, got my generator running. In the interim they checked my transfer switch. All the rewiring and repairs done by Holstrom were done haphazardly and left with a dangerous condition. A fire hazard. The parts they replaced and rewired were no mounted inside the transfer switch but instead just hanging loosely by the wires. The end result is I had to have all the work they did redone at a cost of 2300.00. At least I know it’s now been done correctly and it’s safe.
