Had a mechanic tell me I needed brakes, rotors and calipers but wanted to charge me a fortune to fix everything. A friend recommended this mechanic who could do it for most likely less money. They did it for significantly less money but said I did not need calipers... great! Less then a week later the car is doing the same thing that led me to go to a mechanic in the first place and find out I needed all of these repairs so I had to bring it back. Turns out shocker I did need the calipers and now my car needs new brake hoses as well because the calipers they said were “fine” were destroying the new brakes and everything attached to them so now this has not only cost me more money but also more of my time when it all could have gotten fixed the first time for less money if they had just changed what I originally asked them to instead of “trying to save me money”. Apparently they had to change the brakes again too because the calipers destroyed the new brakes from the week before and I was not charged for those which he acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me for even though it was their fault they got destroyed again. And on top of that when I called in regards to my car at noon I was told it was next to be looked at and then called again at 2 to only find out the car had not been looked at even though I was told the evening before that the car would be most likely ready by the next day as long as no parts had to be ordered. The mechanic told me that he had people in the waiting room that had priority over me which makes no sense being that I brought my car in before those people in the waiting room and when I tried to exclaim my confusion of why people that had brought their cars in after me had first priority I was told that “The world doesn’t revolve around me”. So unprofessional! And an absolute waste of my time, I should have just went to the mechanic that was going to cost me more because I at least know they are professional enough to not insult their customers. What started out as a very positive experience turned out to be one of my worst experiences with a mechanic thus far.
