My son Christopher has been enrolled since he was in kindergarten. I was scared he was excited and actually still is. He loves all his teacher's and friends! As his mother I appreciate how helpful, caring and loving the staff is. Everyone does their very best to help Christopher receive any extra help he may need. His teacher is always there when I reach out to him, even if he is off. I Thank him so much for the support!!! I plan on keeping Christopher enrolled until its time for him to move to the next level of his education, I sincerely hope its the school's sister school!
The Syracuse Police Department, Community Relations section had the opportunity to work with students remotely to celebrate black history month. The school celebrates a month long event called 28 speakers in 28 days. The remote learning started off with a brief introduction and I read a book called Keeping You Safe by Ann Owen. The students were so excited, eager to learn, asked some great questions and participated in the group discussion. It is always a pleasure to work with the students at the Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next time we can work together.nP.O. Jackson
At my son’s previous school, the first grade teacher was very impatient with him. It was such a relieve when he was accepted into this school and it has been an amazing experience since then. The teachers here are so patient, exceptional and helpful with everything. They focus on your child’s learning needs and accommodate those needs. My son and I are very thankful to have such support.
I have two kids that are going to citizenship and they love every minute. The teacher's are amazing and they always there. They can be reach anytime day are night if you have any questions it make me feel so comfortable that they love there school and teacher's and they enjoy going to school. I would recommend this school to everyone.
Staff and kids are amazing. Felt like family! My daughter had such a great time going to school there. The only reason she’s not there anymore is because we moved.
