Quiet, peaceful shoreline walking trails excellent for birders. Always visitors photographing birds. Met a birder photographing migrating Ruby Throated Hummingbirds near entrance to preserve where they have gardens that attract these beautiful birds. Never disappointing.
Felt alot colder than 46 with the breeze, to be expected. None the less, worth the trip for fresh air.
A great and unique spot for nature walks and wildlife (especially birds) encounters.
I love visiting here. A nice walk surrounded by egrets and other waterfowl
Alot of birds to look at. You really get to appreciate the marsh land ecosystem on longisland. Staff is super knowledgeable. Just remember to be quiet around the bird photographers/ watchers so you dont care the birds off.
