We had a thick crust, focaccia type bread pizza with very fresh mozzarella, salami, pepperoni and mushrooms. The sauce was fresh and the crust was delicious.
Every time I have Mario's Pizza, I feel that I want to shake the cook's hand. I always want to express to the kitchen staff how much it reminds me of the pizza I had growing up in Brooklyn in the 70s and 80s. Everything I've ever had at Mario's has been superb.
Sorry to say, I will not be going back!nnThe pizza was average and certainly nothing special. But rather than give a Three Star review, Mario’s gets One....... Why? ......... Here’s Why.nnI highly feel that Thirty One Dollars as just a little bit ridiculous to pay for a regular pizza with 1/2 mushroom 1/2 pepperoni and a dozen garlic knots!nnI could see the high price if I were getting something worthwhile, but for an average pizza with average toppings....... NO WAY!
First time there and we really enjoyed it.
The food is totally worth the wait; The pizza was excellent!!
