Canale & Tellekamp

In 2013 I faxed a written request to Canale & Tellekamp, my long-time accountants to file for an extension for filing my 2012 tax returns. They failed to file for the extension. That failure caused the tax returns to be filed late incurring substantial penalties and interest for late filing.nIn 2015 Canale & Tellekamp provided a written representation that they filed my tax returns for the tax year 2014 timely. That representation was false. This time they simply did not file the tax returns at all, again incurring substantial penalties and interest.nHaving been advised of these errors and having requested compensation for their failures, they refused to reimburse the penalties and interest caused by them. Additionally, they failed to respond to any written communications about these serious failures.nYou would think that having committed such an egregious error for the 2012 tax returns they would have been more careful with future work and specifically with the 2014 tax returns.nObviously I no longer use them as my accountants.

Mr. Canale has prepared my taxes for 15 years. He makes it so easy. I used to prepare my own taxes and dread it. One short appointment and he has it done. i have my refund before April 15th. I have 100% confidence in Mr. Canale.
