First, notice that of his 3 reviews, one is from himself (& giving himself 5 stars), need I say more?! However, just in case...if you want a CPA who is inaccurate, unreliable, and unable &/or unwilling to assist you in correcting his error when the IRS bills you for Mr. Bucci's mistake, then Bucci's your guy!! He solicited our business when our tax preparer passed away, should have seen that as a red flag as a good CPA probably doesn't need to solicit business. Without asking or informing us in advance, he amended our previous year tax return and charged us for it, claiming we had an extra couple hundred dollars coming back. We submitted the amended return and instead ended up paying a $860 bill. We tried contacting Mr. Bucci numerous times, no response. We had hoped that he would correct the error or pay the fine, but no. We filed a consumer complaint and finally heard from him: he informed us he didn't think he should have to help us as we were treating him badly by virtue of filing the complaint!! Yep, you can't make this stuff up!! Never in my life would I ever imagine such a response!! So if you're looking to get hung out to dry, by all means have him prepare your taxes. If you want someone accountable you're much better off with H & R Block or Jackson Hewitt...or anyone else.
