Party City

Today is my daughters 15th birthday, I went to the Lakewood Party City to get some balloons. I got a beautiful balloon bouquet with pink numbers 15. A hour after I arrived home the #5 balloon lost all the air out it, I tried to blow it back up and it popped. I called the Party City in Federal Way because it’s closer to my house and spoke with a sweet girl named Katina. I told her what happened and she immediately said she would get me another #5. They didn’t have pink so she said she would give me gold. I had my husband pick it up for me while I set up for the party. When he came home he had a BEAUTIFUL NEW balloon bouquet for my daughter! I was so surprised! Thank you Katina & Jessica for going above and beyond for my family!

Placed an online order for pickup as it was the last item in stock in the area. Waited to receive email that it was ready for pickup. 1.5 hours later I received an email that I had canceled my order. I called and the associate told me I should have received a phone call that they had to cancel my order because it was not in stock. I received no calls and no voicemails. I asked her to double check because it still said they had 1 in stock. She went and checked and said it’s not there. Website still shows 1 in stock.

I absolutely hate this store! They have a minimal amount of holiday items.... urrg

Kind staff and attentive but that’s about it. Placed an order a few days prior and gave specific instructions for the balloons, the ribbon used, and the weights. On arrival, the balloons were less than fully inflated telling me it was likely done the night before (or even earlier). Had to ask for them to re-inflate which took too long (15ish min wait?). They should have just inflated new balloons which would have taken seconds. We had specific colors to be used only to go along with the three of our special occasion however none of that was followed. Disappointed overall due to the extra time wasted and didn’t even get what we asked for/ordered.
