Orvis Sandanona Shooting Grounds

Great experience one of the most fun experiences in NYS. Inside workers were extremely helpful! Our trapper Drew was so funny and patient, he made the trip worth the experience. Our group had varying experience levels and he gave us targets that matched our skill level. Can't wait to go again!

Was a great fun experience for Sporting Clays on beautiful grounds. If you can get Justin, would be a huge bonus, he was super helpful.

Had a wonderful time visiting Orvis. Paula taught me how to shoot clay within 30 mins. I felt so confident and she had so much patience. The grounds also exceeded expectations, it looked like a mix of a French country resort and golf course. The food also was good. I am a vegetarian, I ate a delicious thai flavored faro and quinoa salad. All and all this was a lovely experience.

One of the best sporting clays courses for any level. The Guides are all very knowledgeable and helpful when approaching new/updated presentations. They recently reversed the course so it makes it even more of a challenge for more advanced shooters.nI’d highly recommend reserving a golf cart. There are several hills and some rough terrain.nnThere are water stations all over the course.nIn the fall there are apples at some of the water stations.nnWhen the weather gets cooler the enormous fire pits are a great way to warm up and enjoy your surroundings.nnThe main house contains a very nice retail area for clothing and a very nice section dedicated to sporting arms. The restaurant is a great place to wind down after an amazing day of shooting.nnOpen all year long. You won’t be disappointed.
