nice place to rest, alot of trees

The park is beautiful but the community no longer helps with the up keep of the park. By this I mean, they do not pick up after themselves and there is trash all over the place. This park is now super congested with everyone from other neighborhoods including folks from from surrounding area. There is usually local food vendors as well with delicious food at reasonable prices on certain days as well. Too many drunk and homeless people in the area as of late.

This is a lovely park surrounded on all sides by beautiful architecture. In the warmer months, it can be quite happening, with large groups gathering and playing loud music. For a less lively park, check out the nearby Franz Segal Park.

Been living here for 30 years and the park was one of my favorite places to go until 15yrs ago. I'd wish that people have zero respect for the environment/neighborhood. They need to start using the trash bins and stop their children from breaking tree branches, destroying flowers. I also hate the loud playing of music to the wee hours of the morning n the enormous parties of 50 or people. Park is great, the people...not so much.
