I love this school, my daughter is 5 yo in Kindergarten at South Bronx Classical Charter School II and she can:nRead E level books at this momentnWrite mini books (illustrate her pictures as well)nRead her math problems and answer them almost alone (includes creating equations with an unknown variable)nHas been introduced to weight and measurement toolsnHas been introduced to map readingnAmong many other thingsnnThey do get homework everyday but she finishes in an average of 30 mins which includes her daily reading.nI love participating in many school activities.nI have great communication with her teacher, whom I can reach out to with any personal or academic concern regarding my daughter.

My son is a scholar at this school since pre-k. He is in the 4th grade now and he has improved so much ever since. This charter school is very good with the teaching of the scholars. They have high potentials in getting the job done and making sure the scholars do too. I highly recommend this charter school to anyone looking to place their child in a charter school and you live in the Bronx.

I dont have any complaints JUST ONE, (Thank God my son is doing brilliant) why do you guys start in the middle of august ,it does finish at the end of june, you barely leave vacations for the children for less then 2 months.Why do other schools start in september,and finish early june.They have school until 2:30 and charters start in august and have long school days until the end of June.If,you run the DOE calendar and have the same holidays,what is the point of long days,long homework,no free times during schedule of learning, EXTREME policies, if you start early and finish late, leaving children Exhausted, and not good vacation time frame, not even finishing in june when they have to go back in august, are you creating human brain machines or what?
