Drove 3 hrs to bring my Jacobson SV 22 utility to have it gone over by the professionals lol. I was told the TBI was bad and gas just poured out the exhaust pipe. I was told there were no parts to fix it and basically it was junk. I drove back to Maine and started thinking, you know Maine ingenuity and all. I took the TBI off, dumped some gas down the gullet and it fired right up. I looked for all this gas pouring out of the TBI like they told me and there was none so I bolted it back on. When I turned the key your could hear the fuel pump come on and shut of as it should. Dumped a little more gas in and it fired up and idled but wouldn't take throttle. I looked under the machine and all the gas they said was coming out the exhaust was actually pouring from a broken hose off the fuel pump to the TBI. I fixed the $3.75 rubber hose and it runs like a top and I mean not a tick, a rattle nothing. The bed goes up and down fine, power steering is tip top. I am naive being from Maine and I try to trust everyone but this was the biggest brush off I ever received from a shop of any kind. Fuel and spark are the first thing you check when an engine doesn't run if you actually do your job. Thank god all I had was some gas money invested and paid nothing for nothing. [
