I've been to the The Modern Man Barbershop twice. Different stylists each time, same good cut exactly as I requested from each of them.
Always loved coming here but scheduled an appointment just to wait outside both of their locked doors for a half hour past my appointment and they still wouldn't open the door, knocking on it with force and yelling through it to try and get someones attention. Stop wasting people’s time.nnEdit: after reading the other one star reviews it seems Line Up is the place to go, this place has been slipping for a long time and has way too much turnover.
Honestly used to love this place but over the last 8-12 months it’s gone completely downhill. Mostly all the regular barbers left for another shop ( Line Up ) a few minutes down the road, and now it’s just a rotating door of barbers. Have set multiple appointments up with Walter, the owner, and he has missed each one. The barbers still working say Walter has marital issues and it’s affecting his work. Last time I had an appointment with Walter he showed up 2 hours late and either drunk or on narcotics. This place is no longer worth going to.
My son, age 2, does fantastic here! Everyone is so helpful, warm and welcoming. We just had our latest experience with Seth and he was great. He took the time to show my son what he would be doing and even showed him on himself. This is saying a lot! We’ve been to other barbers and they are NEVER as friendly as Modern Man. We are a forever customer and throughly enjoy our experience each time! They even have a super cute shop pup.
Manny was great, I'd take the very similar negative reviews with a grain of salt.
