The outdoor seating facing Newfound Lake was stunning. It's the perfect place on a hot summer day. The margarita was one of the best I've ever had. The size of the fish sandwich was huge!

Normally I really like The Big Catch but my most recent visit was very disappointing. Paid $25 for a meal and while I understand when they run out of a food and ask what you what for a substitute I expect they actually GIVE you that and not only 1/2 the takeout meal that was ordered. Plus I was patient and waited over an hour for what little food I did get.

Great food, but high prices cater more to out-of-stater vacationers. But a good occasional splurge. The seafood, platters & sundaes are great.

lucky they got a star first of all, here's why. I called a order in girl ask if I could hold ok fine, but hold for 15 to 20 minutes is not acceptable, for any place, you can hear them talking and working they clearly forgot I was on hold and they only have one phone I got sick of waiting and as much as I hear about how great they are, well they lost our sale which seems to be no big deal, cause the girls clearly were busy, and with the phone being off the hook made it so they could deal with walk in and not phone orders. might try them later, but doubt it after that, might want to look into a second phone line to remind the girls the phones off the hook with someone on hold
