Great day to get out! Lots of friendly people and very courteous. Love anytime I can explain nature to my grandboys! It's always fun showing them things I taught there momma was she was their age in the same beautiful forest. Still worth the time and the hike for over 30 years!

Price for annual family admission is well worth it if you live close enough to visit even once a month and is great value if you want to visit weekly or even daily. Large wheelchair/stroller accessible boardwalk trail with great views that is about a mile around. Walking trails for those that wish to leave the boardwalk. A play area with logs and climbing wall for little kids is complemented by a neat raptor exhibit with several large live birds on the way out of the compound.nCovid-wise they require masks inside the center building but not outside. Many folks wear them on trails or when they get near others on trails, but not required outside and boardwalk has spots where you can step to the side to let folks pass with distance as boardwalk is currently one way traffic.nI love this place and even had my wedding ceremony here years ago! A Bellevue gem!

We had a blast exploring. The boardwalk trail is great for a quick and easy walk. I love how many other trail options there are. We saw deer and lots of birds and squirrels

My family and I had a great time here on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, we received a free one-day pass from the library to go. The trails were fun and we all had a great time exploring the forest. It was very busy but thankfully we found a close parking spot, and there was so much forest we were rarely close to other people. The only thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was seeing so many birds locked up in caged. Other than that it was a great family adventure day. Also it would have been fairly cheap if we hadn't received the passes for free.

Tree Rush at Fontenelle Forest is an amazing experience for all age levels. You do need decent arm strength to succeed on the ropes courses. There are different levels of difficulty for beginners and experienced climbers. I'm 63 and I loved it. The trees in the fall are beautiful.
