It's a high rate to pay for little benefit. If you don't want damage from water, mice or spider infestations, it's best to find a different location. Most of the items I was trying to protect are ruined.

I wish I could give ZERO stars!!! So much for small town customer service. I wanted to rent a shredder but their center link had a rusty bolt with a oversized sheath to use quick attach. Well it wouldn’t work with my tractors center link. I offered to cut the bolt and buy a new one to make it work. She said no. I asked if I could rent their quick attach she said not without renting their tractor. They just refused to work with me. I come from a small town and a business like this wouldn’t last long there!!! Terrible terrible service. Rent elsewhere if you can!!!

Customer service lacked

Rented a core drill, drove 45 one way to pick up. Got back to job to find that the machine was improperly wired, so it started to spart. I then drove all the way back to swap with a different one. When I return and started to drill this machine would not allow any pressure, not to mention it was hard wired on so there was no way to turn machine on or off without unplugging it. If you did add any pressure at all the bit would stop. When I returned this machine, after over an hour and only one hole drilled, I asked for a refund and was told the owner would contact me the following day. 3 days passed so I called to follow up, I was told no refund would be given. I would highly recommend any other rental option before doing business with Tri-state rentals.

Was not happy with their service when I returned the truck. Charged excessive amount for the fuel being under. It wasn't under by that much but they charged me $35 for gas and another hit for being over on mileage. Didn't refund me for the unused furniture pads. The truck pretty much went from point A to point B with no extra stops. Maybe look a little closer at Penske or Ryder next time. Over all Uhaul and Tri State rentals were just too expensive.
