I have ordered seeds from Prairie Moon twice now, and both times were a great experience. Their website has been an incredible resource for planning my new pollinator garden, and their selection of native plants is astounding. They give detailed instructions for planting depth, cold stratification, etc, which are so helpful and appreciated. If you're thinking about planting native species (please do!), go with Prairie Moon - their passion and care for what they do really shines through.
My Uncle sent me some Echinacea purpurea seeds from Boston, I'm living in the west of Ireland, I'm very excited to sow them, it states on the packet no pretreatment is necessary. I also have Liatris. pycnostachya 4
I just placed my first order and was impressed with the speed of delivery. They have a lot of seeds that can be hard to find in other places. I also wanted to give a huge thanks for them sending me some free seeds in addition to my order.
Best source I’ve found for native plants.
This is the best place to get native plants. For a few years I’ve ordered potted plants, bare roots, and seeds. High quality, viable plants always have arrived in great condition. I’ve also had a great experience with customer service as I often have questions on what is best for my urban garden.
