New Horizon Academy

We've been so pleased with our experience at New Horizon Savage. The infant and toddler teachers have been wonderful. They do a great job at both caring for and teaching the kids and our son comes home knowing new things all the time. Jody and Rose are completely accessible and helpful in regards to any concerns that may come up. I would absolutely recommend it to friends and family.

My 10 week old son was left unattended long enough for a child over the age of 1 years old to walk/crawl over to my son who was laying on the floor, and bite him in the face and it looks to be at least twice. One mark is very close to is eye, another above his lip which broke skin, and the other very large one that broke skin in multiple places was his whole nose. I immediately left work to pick up my son as soon as I was notified. I then called my pediatrician and she told me to take him to urgent care to be put on antibiotics. Then after having my son in my care I went to change is diaper and noticed another bite on his belly, which they failed to tell me about. When I called to talk to someone about this I was treated rudely. The next day I was thinking I would receive a call, but nobody called so I called them and talked to the director, she told me all classrooms have blind spots. I dont think a 10 week defenseless infent should be left unattended, especially when children over the age of 1years old are in the same room. All they said was sorry. Never once did anyone ask how they could help or make the situation better. I 100% do not believe I'm getting the whole truth, and I will never know what really happened. My child was only in their care for 6 days and this happened. Absolutely no excuse for an infant to be severely bite in the face!

It’s always a little nerve wracking when looking for good childcare options, but I felt at total ease after I first met the teachers and staff at NHA Savage. My daughter started with them and is now in the preschool aged room and I have a son currently in the infant room. Both children have received exceptional, loving care from many wonderful individuals. I like that each class has a daily schedule, well planned curriculum and fun activities to fill the day. I also appreciate all the extra opportunities available to them (my daughter participates in music and Spanish classes). We love it at NHA Savage!

I researched the care facilities in this area prior to moving, and New Horizons was the top in regards to accessibly to my location, quality of the care for my infant, and peace of mind knowing that my little one is in good hands. Months prior to the transition, I had called and spoken on numerous occasions with Jody the center manager, as well as Rose who is in my opinion on of the foundation members of the center. They both provided me total assurance of my child's well being in their care, as well as introduced me to the lead teachers. Kytonya in the infant room is the absolute best! My daughter has bonded with the staff there and it gives me the greatest peace of mind knowing that she is in excellent care while I am at work. I would highly recommend checking them out if you have a need for childcare.

My kids have been going to new horizon since they were born. We really enjoy the environment. The staff are wonderful we couldn't ask for better my 3 boys have learned so much from new horizon. I over all pleased and very happy so thank you new horizon and staff.
