We were passing through on the freeway and decided to grab a bite to eat. Picked up sandwiches from subway and went down to Sylvania Park to enjoy your picnic table by the lake side. A very enjoyable location, Quiet and clean.
I Love sitting on the dock in the moonlight listening to the water crash on to the rocks and the sounds of nature, so tranquil. Peaceful and beautiful! Always brings me to my Happy Place!nIt does take reservations for get togethers,(im not sure if they are yet with the whole covvid thing though), park for the kids, fishing dock, grills and restrooms. The lake seemed decent for swimming boating and even tubing. #makememories
Great live entertainment today and great vibe! 10/10
This park is a great place to have a picnic. There's a large shelter house with plenty of room for a very large family. There’s a playground with modern/updated play equipment. There is also a band shell that's great for music (live or radio). The community does a lot of stuff down here throughout the year. From church in the park to movies on the lawn.nThere's also a swimming beach and docks to fish off of.
