Indeed, the cod was the best we've eaten in years! But that was the best part of our meal. The mac and cheese served with the 2-piece meal is definitely not homemade; for the price ($10.99) that was disappointing. Fries would have been more welcome. Additionally, our waitress forgot to serve our side dishes (1 with the 2-piece and 2 with our 5-piece meal). Overall, the cost for what we got was high.
The Cod was very good. Flaky and fried perfectly. The slaw was pretty average, but the fries were yummy. It's a small place in a truck stop, but service was great.
My family placed a large order today at Bear’s 105. They really have this whole “takeout” business down!! Every item was labeled, food was packaged in parchment paper inside containers to avoid mixing, and staff was extremely friendly. We were delighted to give them our business, and highly recommend! Not to mention, the food was absolutely phenomenal.
So excited last night to actually dine out for our anniversary. We were not disappointed in our food or the service to our shanty! Keep up the great service.
Was excited to finally be able to go to a restaurant for fish. Sat down, was served our drinks and order was taken. After a 1/2 hour, still no food. Two couples that came in after us got their meal's. Went up to counter and they didn't place our order in (could not find it)... upset, we left !!!! So disappointed ☹ufe0f
