I have had the pleasure of eating at Driftwood for lunch and dinner, as well as, cocktails on a Sunday afternoon. Their menu and food is consistent - which says a lot for a small restaurant. When you like a dish, you know you will like it every time. Same to be said about service - consistently good. I have rated a lot of restaurants and have given very few five stars - Driftwood has earned 5 stars tried and true. Oh and by the way, if you want a fresh Caesar salad or great blackened salmon - hard to beat. Better yet, you want to sit outside on a beautiful Michigan day and enjoy the view of the lake... this is the place to go.
First time here. Went for lunch on a Saturday. Service was friendly and fast. They don't serve entries until 2 so went with an assortment of appetizers. Everything was very good. We fought over the avocado toast! Also had the coconut shrimp and mac n cheese bites. All very good flavor and texture. They also have outdoor seating overlooking the lake. Will be back.
Love the views! Amazing food selection; great wings and steak bites. Service is always fast and friendly. Now if they could just figure out how I can win at keno, lol!
One of our favorite places to go... the food is really good and reasonably priced. I wished that they would filter their water and also add something to filter noise (when they are busy, it is hard to carryon a conversation). A beautiful place to view Walled Lake!
I went here because the last time I was here before the pandemic, I had a great French Dip. Since I am starting treatment again tomorrow for lung cancer, I was really looking forward to coming here. My friend and I split the French Dip (thankfully) and had onion rings, fries and my friend had coke slaw. The ONLY thing good that we got were our pops. The food was nasty!! All of it. The seasoned fries were not seasoned. They were just plain old fries. My friend said the coke slaw tasted spoiled. The onion rings tasted like the French Dip, awful. The waitress never once asked how our food was. We will never be returning here and we will warn our friends and family. Too bad. Nice atmosphere, but horrible food!!
